QUEER COUPLES THERAPY
Icons_Couples.png

Relationship conflicts are normal and to be expected. However, when they last too long and fester, they can harm your relationship through resentment, anger, guilt, criticism, and blame. Some couples seek therapy to ensure their connection stays strong to avoid future relationship difficulties, while others have a specific issue they'd like to address. All kinds of couples are welcome here and I can promise you that I’ll listen to you BOTH with respect. No taking sides! You can count on me to be a totally safe, non-judgmental source of support for you both in each session.

  • Learn how to communicate and ask for your needs, limits, and boundaries effectively

  • Increase emotional intimacy, vocabulary, and expression (learning the language of emotions)

  • Fight more effectively, manage and deescalate conflict

  • Increase intimacy and vulnerability

  • Rebuild trust

  • Parent healthier children after surviving a traumatic childhood

  • Understand yourself and your partner better

I use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) as a theoretical approach, but also draw from Gottman and PACT. I even love to work with psychedelic integration to help enhance the experience of intimacy and connection for a couple. Each couple is different and I look forward to discussing how we can get your relationship back on track or ensure it stays on track.
